Rhoades Car International Selects Hannah’s Hope Fund
HENDERSONVILLE, TN – January 12, 2011 – Rhoades Car International, the nation’s leading four-wheel bicycle manufacturer, announced today that it has selected Hannah’s Hope Fund as its 2011 Charitable Contribution and seed faith partner.
“There are so many rare childhood diseases that require funding in order to find a cure or effective treatment,” according to Bill Pomakoy, President of Rhoades Car International. “This year our monthly charitable contributions will go to Hannah’s Hope Fund, a 501C Public Charity founded after a little girl from upstate New York named Hannah was diagnosed with Giant Axonal Neuropathy (GAN), a rare genetic disorder that slowly takes away one’s ability to walk, use one’s hands, speak, swallow and is also terminal,” he added.
Rhoades Car International practices the idea of seed faith and each month a portion of its sales revenue goes to fund research for a rare childhood disease. “We plant a seed in a worthwhile cause and pray that it grows enough to positively impact treatment or an eventual cure, added Rhonda McBride, CFO of Rhoades Car. “We are just a small piece of the solution so we encourage other businesses and individuals to do the same,” McBride added.
Organizations or individuals who would also like to contribute to the Hannah’s Hope Fund can visit the website at www.hannahshopefund.org.
