As more and more consumers take the time to investigate whether or not a product is American-made, retailers are starting to take notice.
In 2013, CNBC reported that Walmart was set to source an additional $50 billion in American products over the next 10 years, while General Electric had plans to revitalize its appliances business here in the United States with a $1 billion investment.
In fact, there’s a store in Elma, New York, that only sells products made in the United States. Its name? Made in America Store, of course.

They’ve mastered the idea of making simple things like faucets and shower-heads seem like sleek and sophisticated works of art … and they’re manufactured in Kohler, Wisconsin.

Their kitchen bakeware, measuring cups and containers have become staples in the kitchen – found in 80 percent of American households, according to the Huffington Post – and they’re made in Rosemont, Illinois.
8. Anchor Hocking glassware
Not unlike Pyrex, Anchor Hocking glassware has become a kitchen must-have. The company has two primary manufacturing centers – Lancaster, Ohio, and Monaca, Pennsylvania.
7. Post-it Notes
One of the most important office accessories of the modern workplace, Post-It Notes are manufactured by parent company 3M in Cynthiana, Kentucky.
6. Weber grills
The barbecue has become a symbol of the American way of life, so it’s appropriate that Weber grills are primarily manufactured in Palatine, Illinois.
5. Crayola crayons
They’re the brand-name standard for the coloring book crowd. (Who seriously wants to color with generic crayons, right?) All of Crayola’s crayons are produced in facilities located in Easton, Pennsylvania.
4. Duck duct tape
One of the most well-known adhesive brands in the country, Duck duct tape is manufactured in the United States. The company’s headquarters are in Avon, Ohio.
3. KitchenAid mixers
Is a KitchenAid mixer the most coveted kitchen appliance in America? The multicolored appliances are made at production facilities in Greenville, Ohio.

They’re the world’s finest pianos and they’re made in New York City – the last major piano manufacturer in the country.
